Along the back and sides of each compartment, corrugated vertical panels create a rhythmic, textural surface, the plywood cut into a series of parallel ridges that read as a repeat pattern at rest and as dynamic geometry under raking light. The layered edges of the plywood are left exposed throughout, running along the shelves, the sides, and the corrugated panels, making the material's laminated structure a visual detail in its own right.

Light-toned birch plywood is the material across the piece, its natural grain consistent and warm. The Foundation Console sits among the few pieces in the Goons Collection that integrate storage, its two shelves suited to books, objects, or flat display trays.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1029/0685/5806/files/goons-collection---monde-singulier4.png?v=1792964502
