À propos de Mies van der Rohe
German-born architect (1886-1969), director of the Bauhaus from 1930-1933 and later a leading figure of American architecture in Chicago. With Lilly Reich he designed the Barcelona chair for the 1929 German Pavilion, the tubular steel MR chair and the Brno chair, all later produced by Knoll. Collectors seek early production with original leather and chrome, and documented pieces from the Knoll archives.
