Pair of ottomans by Jacques Charpentier for Maison Jansen designed in the late 1970s. The pair of ottomans are made of two large cushion elements connected together. They have been newly upholstered with an incredibly soft white alpaca wool fabric from Dedar. These ottomans exude a stylized 1970s allure that will anchor your space in french mid-century modernity.
À propos de Jacques Charpentier
French designer active in the 1960s and 1970s, known for lighting in aluminium and chrome as well as upholstered seating. His table and floor lamps, such as the Building lamp, use stacked or folded metal elements with a strong architectural quality. His sofas and armchairs share the same sculptural approach. Collectors look for pairs of lamps and original finishes, which capture the confident geometry of French design of the period.
